Although AM Wellness is already hosted in a HIPAA compliant hosting environment and uses a variety of (usually transparent) firewalls (cloudflare, wordfence, & recaptcha) to keep known bad elements away, we are activating additional security measures (on June 8th, 2026) called Two Factor or Multi Factor Authorization (2FA/MFA) for site access. There is a 10 day grace period for you to complete the 2FA setup. For all existing users that means June 18th, 2026. For all NEW users, it will be 10 days following your initial sign-up.

During the Grace period you will continue to have full account access, however, if you DO NOT complete the 2FA setup, you will be locked out of the site. You will then need to contact AMW staff to get temporarily unlocked.

Once enabled, all users will be sent to a 2FA setup screen similar to this.

When you choose to configure 2FA, you’ll see these screens

You can generate backup code now or later, when you choose later, you are sent to your PROFILE page amwellnesscoaching.com/user/[your user name]

When you log in AFTER the initial set up, the email sent 2FA code (from support@athleticmentors.com) will be valid for 10 minutes, otherwise you’ll need to request another code. If you’re NOT getting the emails, you might need to whitelist support@athleticmentors.com or reach out to support.
